I activated the accessibility app in my theme settings, but the floating widget isn’t visible on my storefront.

After enabling the app in your theme settings, please ensure the Widget Options → Enable/Disable toggle is switched on in the app dashboard. The widget will appear only when this setting is enabled.

Yes, customers can hide the widget. You can enable this option under Widget Window → Hide Interface in the app settings. Once enabled, users will be able to close the widget on their end.
In the widget settings, enable both the Enable/Disable option and the Do you want to put this widget as a link? option. This will allow the widget to be accessed from the website footer.
In your Shopify admin, open Online Store → Navigation and add a new menu item. Use the link URL #add-aacc-link, then save your changes. The footer link will appear once saved.
Yes. In the Menu Settings section of the app, scroll to the Statement area and enable the Statement Link option. Paste your page URL into the field provided, then save your changes.
Yes. In the Menu Settings → Statement section, you’ll find an editable text field where you can modify or replace the default statement with your own content.
Yes. Open the Language settings, select Edit, and enable the Set Default Language option. Save your changes to apply the default language on your storefront.

Many common issues can be resolved by toggling the widget off and back on in the widget settings. This refresh typically restores proper functionality.
The widget remembers the language based on your browser history. If you previously visited the site when the widget language was English, your browser stored that preference. New visitors (or anyone who hasn’t visited before) will see the widget in the default language you set, such as German.
If clearing your browser data did not update the widget language, you may have enabled the Language Variable feature in the app settings. When this option is turned on, the widget automatically uses the language defined in your site’s HTML lang attribute. For example, if your site’s HTML tag is lang=”en”, the widget will display English. Disable this setting if you want the widget to always use the default language you selected.
